<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a striker cover which is small in size, and easily mountable in a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The striker cover 3 is housed in a recess 11 formed in a floor panel 1 of the vehicle, and side surfaces 31b enclosing a striker 4 have guide grooves 31e, 31f penetrated therein. The guide grooves 31e, 31f have a pair of cover members 32, 36 engaged therewith in a manner relatively movable along the guide grooves. The cover members 32, 36 are mutually adjacently arranged in the recess 11 so as to block the same. Then by depressing a lock member 7 that is an engaging object with the striker 4, the cover members 32, 36 move inside the recess 11 in directions that are separated from each other while maintaining their positions, and after exposing an upper side 41 of the striker 4, the cover members are rotated toward the inside of the recess 11 with respect to the side surfaces 31b, to thereby expose the striker 4 such that the lock member 7 as the engaging object with the striker 4 can engage with the same. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
