<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air pressure sensor device with a threshold automatically set for detecting the opening of opening/closing means by a simple operation and a threshold setting method for the sensor device. <P>SOLUTION: This air pressure sensor device 1 has an ordinary mode and a learning mode. In the learning mode, a microcomputer 5 measures a plurality of times an ordinary voltage which is an output voltage of an air pressure sensor 2 with all the opening/closing means closed, first differential voltages V1 developed by opening one or more of the opening/closing means, and second differential voltages V2 caused by their reaction waves. The microcomputer 5 selects the minimum first differential voltage V1 from the first differential voltages V1 when the first and second differential voltages V1 and V2 are minimum while selecting the minimum second differential voltage from the second differential voltages. The microcomputer 5 automatically sets first and second threshold voltages V4 and V5 so that they have voltage values smaller than the minimum first and second differential voltages, respectively.
