PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexographic press which can reduce occurrence of a phenomenon of bounding in a plate cylinder, which prevents transfer of ink to a sheetlike base by other than an image portion of a flexographic plate of the plate cylinder and therefore only a desired image can be printed on the sheetlike base and which can lessen the width of the sheetlike base to be printed. SOLUTION: The flexographic press comprises the plate cylinder 16 which transfers the ink to the sheetlike base W and with an anilox roll 14 which supplies the ink to the plate cylinder 16. The plate cylinder 16 has, at the opposite end edges, such outer edge members 16d that are always brought into pressure contact with an impression cylinder 18 on the occasion of rotation thereof. The axial length of the anilox roll 14 is made shorter than that of the plate cylinder 16 so that the anilox roll 14 may not come into contact with the outer edge members 16d at the opposite end edges of the plate cylinder 16.
