<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video supply system using a recording medium of a small capacity not needing its return through the use of a network and to provide its video reproducing device. SOLUTION: The video supply system is provided with an information processor that is installed in a contents provider 6 to process vide image management information, an information recorder 5 that is installed in a shop renting a video image, receives the management information via a communication network from the provider 6 and writes prescribed information such as a video image title and a key code to a recording medium 3 given to a customer, and a contents player 11 that reads the prescribed information written on the recording medium 3, transmits the information to the contents provider 6 via a communication network and receivers and reproduces the video information that is transmitted from the provider 6 after authenticating the prescribed information. Thus, the medium 3 has a very small capacity enough to store the contents the requires no return from the customer and the simple video supply system can be realized.</p> |
