METHOD FOR EXTRACTING OUTLINE OF IMAGE, METHOD FOR EXTRACTING BODY FROM IMAGE, AND IMAGE TRANSMISISON SYSTEM USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make fast the processing of a body area extraction system which user self-similar matching. SOLUTION: Outline processing has a 1st step for setting a search reference block at the outline part of shape data, a 2nd step for finding similar blocks which have similar patterns of image data by search reference blocks and are larger in block size than them in the same image, and a 3rd step for replacing binarized data of images in the search reference block with shape data of corresponding similar blocks and repeats the 3rd step as many times as specified and matches the outline of the shape data with the outline of the body and is repeated and in the beginning of the repetition, outline position corrections are made while the image data, shape data, and search reference blocks are reduced.
