The invention relates to a dual-mode mobile telephone terminal (T) that comprises a first interface (G1) for connecting the same to a wireless global telecommunication network (PLMN), a second interface (W1) for connecting the same to a wireless local telecommunication network (WLAN), and a control unit (CU) for receiving from the second interface (W1) a signal (S1) indicating that the terminal is connected to a wireless local telecommunication network (WLAN), and for sending to the first interface (G1) a control signal (S2) capable of completely inhibiting the radio transmission from said first interface (G1).
