<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indirect live line tool and an indirect live line tool component for accurately confirming the damaged state of an object installed in a distribution line from a safe location in a wide area of the object. <P>SOLUTION: The indirect live line tool 10 comprises: pinching sections 20a, 20b engaged with each other so as to be turnable, and having tips 23a, 23b which approach or come off from the pinching sections; and operational section 30a, 30b extended from the pinching sections 20a, 20b, and turning the pinching sections 20a, 20b. Inner faces 25a, 25b of the pinching sections 20a, 20b are semielliptic and annular. A plurality of imaging sections 40 are formed on the inner faces 25a, 25b in the circumferential direction.
