<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial surface with a temperature control function. <P>SOLUTION: The artificial turf surface 10 includes rows 13 of ribbons 15 protruding from a lining sheet 12 and widely spaced apart from one another. Temperature control means 23 are attached individually in spaces between the rows 13 of the ribbons 15 on the lining sheet 12. A filler layer is formed above the lining sheet 12 to bury the temperature control means 23 under the filler layer while keeping the ribbons 15 in erected postures. The filler layer may include a cultivation medium for cultivating plants. In one embodiment, an electric cable is integrated in the artificial turf surface for heating the turf surface for thawing or keeping the root of the plant warm. In the other embodiment, a perforated flexible tube is integrated in the artificial turf surface 10 for moistening the turf surface so that the turf surface is cooled when the moisture is evaporated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
