PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entrance section structure of a closed sea area, which improves the flowing environment of the closed sea area by accelerating exchange of sea water between inside and outside the closed sea area, and to provide a current condition control method. SOLUTION: The entrance section 2 structure of the closed sea area 1 is formed in a seaside section 20, and constituted of: a main bank body 4 which is arranged at an entrance section 2 of the closed sea area 1, and forms an opening 5 of a predetermined width, in the entrance section 2; a first sub-bank body 6 which is formed on the main bank body 4 in one body with the same, and extends from the main bank body 4 to the interior of the closed sea area 1; and a second sub-bank body 9 which is formed on the main bank body 4 in one body with a predetermined internal, opposite to the opening 5 across an interval from the first sub-bank body 6, extends from the main bank body 4 to the interior of the closed sea area 1, and has a length longer than that of the first-sub-bank body 6.
