PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a heat treatment can be carried out without forming creases etc., and an electrospun nonwoven fabric maintaining the strength ratio of the production direction to the width direction of a fiber web can be produced and to provide an apparatus for producing the nonwoven fabric. SOLUTION: The method for producing the electrospun nonwoven fabric includes a step of sandwiching the fiber web containing fibers spun by an electrospinning method with a pair of solid materials at an atmospheric temperature of 60°C or less and fixing the fiber web, (2) a step of heating the fiber web in a fixed state and forming the fiber web into a nonwoven fabric, (3) a step of cooling the nonwoven fabric kept in the fixed state, and (4) a step of releasing fixing with the pair of solid materials and taking out the nonwoven fabric.
