PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound tending to form a stable thin film since its molecules hardly crystallize, and in the case of being used as a blue light-emitting material for an organic EL element, having excellent characteristics such as a low electric voltage driving, a life elongation, etc., and showing a high glass transition temperature (Tg). SOLUTION: This compound having a carbazolyl group is expressed by general formula [1] [wherein, A is a carbazolyl group which may have a substituent; and R1to R6are each H, a halogen atom or a monovalent organic residue].
