A mobile communications terminal and a method thereof capable of directly moving an item when internet browser and multitasking is used by using the mobile communications terminal are provided to move to an initial menu without a sequential process. A wireless communications unit(110) processes transceiver data. A key input unit(120) comprises keys for inputting number and character information. A storage(130) stores item. A controller(140) controls the operation according to the item search. A display unit(150) indicates screen data according to the item search.
