PURPOSE: Provided is a toll automatic settlement system by a smart card with RF and an IC embedded which utilizes the smart card with RF and IC so that it helps the flow of expressway not to be hampered by settlement process. CONSTITUTION: The toll automatic settlement system by a smart card with RF and an IC embedded comprises the parts of: an authority(200) to issue and manage the smart card which issue the smart card with users' information; a sensor which identifies sorts of vehicles; a computer(600) which computerizes calculation and settlement for a tool when users drive a toll road; a rewriter for the smart card(300) which stores area codes or management numbers about road neighboring area and the type of vehicles in a storage space at road entrance area; and a rewriter for the smart card(400) which reads information stored in a storage space at road exit area. |
