PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a split type cowl top cover which can effectively absorb an impact load given onto a bonnet.SOLUTION: An upper cowl top cover 2 and a lower cowl top cover 3 are bonded to each other by a first fitting surface 21 formed on the upper cowl top cover and a second fitting surface 31 formed on the lower cowl top cover, the bonded state can be achieved in such a manner that an upper end part 30 of the lower cowl top cover 3 constituting the second fitting surface 31 is inserted in and fitted to an engaged part 22 formed on the first fitting surface 21. When an impact force is given onto a split-type cowl top cover 1 from above, the upper cowl top cover 2 and the lower cowl top cover 3 can be respectively moved in a downward direction in a state that the upper and lower cowl top covers are separated from each other, and therefore, the impact force can be effectively absorbed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
