PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a groove structure in which a protective member of either a clip fixing type or a fitting/fixing type can be reliably fitted to a common groove while the weight and cost are suppressed.SOLUTION: A groove structure 100 comprises a plate-like roof panel 104 and a side body outer panel 106. Edges 104a, 106a of the roof panel and the side body outer panel are coupled with each other so as to form a groove 110. The groove structure also comprises: a roof molding 114A covering the groove; a first clip 116 which is arranged at a center 122 of the groove in a vehicle longitudinal direction, and fixes the roof molding to a bottom 124 of the groove; and a second clip 118 which is arranged at an end part 126 of the groove in the vehicle longitudinal direction, fixes the roof molding to the bottom of the groove, to restrict the position of the roof molding in the vehicle longitudinal direction.
