PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a fiber board capable of efficiently manufacturing a fiber board having a resin member provided on one surface side.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a fiber board includes a base obtained by forming a vegetable fiber and a fiber substrate containing a thermoplastic resin, and a resin member formed on one surface side of the substrate; and is provided with a press forming step of press forming a fiber substrate 21 using a pair of substrate forming molds (core mold 7 and cavity mold 9). A groove portion 13 for forming a resin member is provided on one mold (core mold 7) constituting the substrate forming mold. In the press forming step, the fiber substrate 21 is press formed in a state where the groove portion 13 is filled with a molten material 19 of a resin raw material for forming the resin member and is covered with the heated fiber substrate 21, and thereby the fiber substrate 21 is formed and the resin member is formed on one surface side of the obtained substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
