Provided are a support block (1050) for a steam turbine casing (30, 32), and a related assembly and apparatus. Various embodiments include a steam turbine casing support block (1020) comprising: a main body unit (1052) sized to substantially fill a pocket (1030) in a steam turbine casing (30, 32), having a greater length than a depth or a width; a set of tabs (1056) which is the set of tabs (1054) extended from the main body unit (1052), each of the set of tabs (1054) sized to substantially fill a corresponding slot (1042) in the steam turbine casing (30, 32) wherein the set of tabs are located at a radially outward facing wall (1056) of the main body unit (1052); and a pin hole (1058) on a bottom surface (1062) of the main body unit (1052) to store a retaining member (1060). |
