PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mitigating a load of a user's monitoring in a camera system using a plurality of cameras.SOLUTION: A camera system 101 comprises a monitoring device 103 including: an operation unit 110 for identifying a monitoring target from an imaged picture; a picture arrangement unit 113 for determining an imaging device whose imaged picture should be displayed, out of a plurality of imaging devices on the basis of a plurality of imaging devices' imaging directions to the monitoring target; and a display unit 117 for making an imaged picture of the imaging device 102 determined by the picture arrangement unit 113 be displayed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
