PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system capable of controlling the intensity of noise removal in consideration of a gradation correction amount and subject regions.SOLUTION: The image processing system comprises: discrimination means for discriminating plural subject regions from an image; determination means for determining the gradation correction amount for performing gradation correction to each predetermined region of the image; and noise removal means which changes the intensity of noise removal to apply to the image with a gradation corrected by the gradation correction amount, in accordance with the gradation correction amount and the discriminated subject regions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
