PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverted movable body which improves operability and prevents the getting-off motion from being hindered, and a control method therefor.SOLUTION: The inverted movable body 1 travels in an inverted state according to the movement of the center of gravity of an occupant, and comprises a step 9 on which the occupant places his/her legs, a leg fixing mechanism 13 which fixes the legs of the occupant and the step 9, and a getting-off trigger setting unit 54 which detects an indication of a getting-off operation. When the indication of the getting-off operation is detected, the inverted movable body releases the fixation of the leg fixing mechanism 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
