FLUORINATED COATING COMPOSITION AND ARTICLE TREATED WITH SAID COATING COMPOSITION

The present invention provides a fluorine-containing coating agent capable of stably forming a water-repellent and oil-repellent film causing no damage in visibility of a substrate even when the film thickness increases, and an article coated with the coating agent. The fluorine-containing coating agent comprises: (A) a silane having a hydrolyzable group at one end and modified with a fluoroxyalkylene group-containing polymer and/or a partially hydrolyzed condensate thereof; and (B) a silane having hydrolyzable groups at both ends and modified with a fluoroxyalkylene group-containing polymer and/or a partially hydrolyzed condensate thereof, wherein the mixing ratio of (A) : (B) is 20 : 80 to 60 : 40 on the weight basis and the cured film of the coating agent has a thickness of 20 nm. The fluorine-containing agent has a haze of 0.5 or less as determined by the method defined in JIS K7136 and shows a water contact angel of 100 or more after 2,000 times reciprocal wearing.
