PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device that can suppress frequencies at which maintenance for a recording head is executed while suppressing occurrence of jamming caused by curl of a sheet.SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device comprises a conveying belt, a suctioning portion, a recording head, a maintenance mechanism, a suction force control portion 122, a counting portion 124 and a maintenance control portion 125. The suctioning portion generates suction force and suctions a sheet toward the conveying belt. The recording head discharges ink droplets toward a sheet being conveyed by the conveying belt. The suction force control portion 122 controls the suction force generated by the suctioning portion. The counting portion 124 counts the total number of sheets conveyed by the conveying belt by weighting the total number according to the suction force generated by the suctioning portion. The maintenance control portion 125, when a result of the counting by the counting portion 124 exceeds a predetermined value, starts the maintenance mechanism that maintains the recording head.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
