A cable fixture for wooden, metal or concrete posts 13, especially for mounting of barbed wire, wire fencing, such as sheep fencing or the like 6, 7, in which the cable holder comprises a mounting part 1, which is arranged such that it can be driven into, screwed to, cast into or otherwise fixed in a wooden, metal or concrete post, and a cable holder part, which comprises a double-folded 4, 5 piece of the cable holder having a bottom part 4 and a top part 15, between which a part of a cable, a fence or the like can be laterally inserted and which are configured with V-shaped notches 8, 9 on two opposite edges of the cable holder part, in which notches a transverse part in the cable, the fence or the like can be secured in two mutually perpendicular directions in the plane. The cable holder part is expediently constructed with a barb-like edge 11, which is folded inwards in the gap 12 between the top part 4 and the bottom part 5 and prevents the cable from being accidentally withdrawn from the cable holder part. The cable holder can be provided with continuous holes 10 and/or additional V-grooves for mounting of further cables or other parts or for other purposes. <IMAGE> |
