Treatment of dermatological disorders - using pyridyl -oxopregna dieno-pyrazole deriv

A white crystal-clear gel and an effective quantity of 2'-(4-pyridyl) 6.16 alpha-dimethyl-11 beta 17 alpha-21-trihydroxy 20-oxopregna-4.6-dieno (3.2c) pyrazole (I) are used in preparations for the topical treatment of dermatological disorders. The gel consists of >=1 solvent, >=1 thickening agent and water. The pref. solvents are ethanol, isopropanol, propyleneglycol- and/or glycerol. The thickening agent consists of hydroxy(ethyl or propyl) cellulose and/or "Carbopol" 940. Prepns. have good stability and good deposit props. The carrier does not irritate the skin and gives max skin penetration.
