Coupling strip for conductor rail - has snap fastening U=shaped mouldings to grip insulators and rail

The overhead conductor rail is gripped inside an insulating strip which exposes a groove through which the rail is contacted. The coupling joints of the rails are gripped by U-shaped mouldings (13) in two halves to clip together for a rigid support. The mouldings have ratchet tongues (33) which locate in corresponding recesses in the other halves to provide a rapid and secure clip.
