摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic bearing system capable of easily magnetically levitate a body of rotation to an about mechanical central position. SOLUTION: A body 5 of rotation is magnetically levitated by magnetic attraction force of plural pairs of electro-magnets 26a, 26b in the axial direction and in the radial direction, and the movable range of the body of rotation is regulated by a mechanical regulating means. For every control shaft, the magnetic bearing system is provided with a pair of the electro- magnets 26a, 26b arranged so as to hold the body 5 of rotation from both sides in the direction of the control shaft, position detecting means 22, 23 for detecting the position of the body of rotation in the direction of the control shaft, and an electro-magnet control means having an integral control action part for controlling the electro-magnets based on the position- detected results by the position detecting means. The electro-magnet control means sets a position of the body of rotation, which corresponds to a medium value between an integral output, namely output of the integral control action part at the time when the body of rotation is magnetically levitated in the neighborhood of one limit position in the direction of the control shaft regulated by the mechanical regulating means, and an integral output at the time when the body of rotation is magnetically levitated in the neighborhood of the other limit position in the direction of the control shaft, as a target levitating position of the body of rotation in the direction of the control shaft.
