PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier, in which water permeability from a damp gas side to a dry gas side can be increased, and which can be used satisfactorily for humidifying a fuel cell. SOLUTION: In the humidifier, a large number of water permeable hollow fiber membranes arranged along a longitudinal direction of a housing, are housed in a housing, a moisture exchange between gases is performed by feeding the gases having different moisture contents inside and outside of the hollow fiber membrane, respectively, and dry gas having low moisture content is humidified. On the inner hollow fiber membrane, a structure for generating turbulence is provided. ON the inner wall of the hollow fiber membrane, the projections are provided. At a gas inlet to the inside the hollow fiber membrane, a twisting fin is provided. At the gas inlet to the inside the hollow fiber membrane, a step is provided. |
