PURPOSE:To ensure the picture processing performance that could not be obtained by a single function of a copying device or a thermal transfer printer only, by providing the functions of both devices to a single unit of device. CONSTITUTION:When a multiplex mode button (not shown in the figure) is turned on, a paper P3 to which pictures are transcribed by a thermal transfer printer is sent to a guide 83 through a gate 84 and then to a document feeder 86 by a feed roll 85. The paper P3 is set to an original board 104 by the feeder 86. Then the pictures on the paper P3 are exposed to the light by the function of a copying machine, and the latent images are formed on a photosensitive drum 108. These latent images are developed with a developing agent supplied through a developer 112. Then the images are transcribed to the paper P2 or P3 supplied from cassettes 103a and 103b through a transcriber 113. These transcribed pictures are sent to a fixing device 119 to be fixed and discharged to a discharge tray 102.
