<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the connecting work by forming leads of driving LSIs mounted on a printed circuit board on one side of liquid crystal optical shutters in the direction opposite to that of driving LSIs mounted on a printed circuit board on the other side. CONSTITUTION:With respect to microshutters 12, 1280 microshutters S1, S1', S3, S3'...S1279, and S1279' are arranged in a row (a), and 1280 microshutters S2, S2', S4, S4'...S1280, and S1280' are arranged in a row (b). Microshutters in the row (a) are driven by 8 driving LSIs D1-D8, and those in the row (b) are driven by 8 driving LSIs D1'-D8'. These driving LSIs have the same circuit constitution but driving LSIs for the row (a) and those for the row (b) are opposite with respect to lead forming. Since both circuit boards can be made symmetrical with respect to a line consequently, it is unnecessary to invert and connect one heat seal.</p> |
