PURPOSE:To attain beautiful labeling by hot air even if a low temperature container is used by printing images on one surface of a transparent and thermocontractive plastic film having a smooth surface and forming a specific rough layer on the printed surface. CONSTITUTION:The transparent film with a smooth surface is used as the film 1, the back surface of the film 1 is printed 3 and the rough layer 2 is formed on the printed surface. At the formation of the rough layer 2, a coating agent obtained by mixing fine grains with proper binder is applied to the printing surface of the film 1. The surface roughness of the rough layer is within the range of 1.5-6mum 10-point average roughness. If the surface roughness is smaller than said state, wrinkles or pits are generated when the layer is contractively coated to the container, and if it is larger than said state, th rugged surface may be generated on the label surface when the layer is applied to the container. Consequently, sliding on the container is improved by the proper ruggedness on the inside, and especially when the layer is applied to a low temperature container, the label is allowed partially to contact with the container, the contacting part is not left as ancontracted part even if the temperature is dropped and fine finishing appearance can be obtained. |
