PURPOSE:To prevent an insertion of molten metal caused by heat deformation of a metallic frame and to lengthen a service life of a fixed short side wall by constructing the insulating refractory surrounding metallic frame for the fixed short side, so as to be cooled by cooling fluid. CONSTITUTION:The insulating refractory surrounding metallic frame 14 arranges a cooling fluid passage hole 17 to cool it. Therefore, trouble, such as the insertion of the molten metal, caused by changing of the gap at the sliding face with the belt by deformation of the metallic frame 14, is not happened. Further, as a lubricant, such as grease, etc., in a lubricant supplying passage hole 18 is ejected to the sliding face from a lubricant ejecting hole 15, the friction resistance between the metallic belt and the fixed short side becomes to further less and the abrasions of the fixed short side and the metallic mold are decreased. |
