PURPOSE:To obtain an electronic scale which facilitate the setting and switching of specification and deals with various kinds of specification by storing specification data in a nonvolatile memory and dealing with a change in specification setting mode with ten-keys. CONSTITUTION:Scaling data from a load cell 4 is inputted to a CPU 3 to which a RAM 1 and a ROM 2 are connected through an A/D converter 5. This CPU 3 connects with an operation part 6 equipped with the ten-keys, mode setting keys, etc., and a display part which displays weight, unit prices, prices, etc. Further, the nonvolatile memory 8 connected to the CPU 3 stores specification data as a combination of eight bits of 1 and 0 like '10101010' as well as dip switches. The specification of the electronic scale is controlled according to the specification data stored in the memory 8. Further, the specification data stored in the memory 8 is switched and set by setting a specification set mode through the operation of the operation part 6.
