PURPOSE:To eliminate an unshaded part, by attaching a light transmittance variable panel in the central part of a windowshield, and detecting an incident light quantity, then constituting a sun visor so as to make the light transmittance of a panel variable, in case of a vehicle with this variable type sun visor. CONSTITUTION:A light transmittance variable panel 11 being curved in accord with curvature on a windshield is set up in such a part that is in the central part of the windowshield and shading of a variable type sun visor is unattainable. And, electrodes 12 and 13 are connected to a control circuit using a photosensor Q1 via a liquid crystal driving circuit. In this constitution, a light incident quantity into the windowshield is detected by this photosensor Q1, and according to the detected light quantity, the liquid crystal driving circuit is operated, whereby light transmittance of the light transmittance variable panel 11 is made variable, thus shading takes place. With this constitution, an unshaded part on the windshield is eliminable.
