<p>PURPOSE:To provide an X-Y direction input device where cursor position adjustment is easy. CONSTITUTION:Two sets of timers 62 and 63 measuring the pulse width of respective phase signals XA, XB, YA and YB in the directions of X and Y, a position timer 64 measuring the contact time of sliders 43a-43c and 46a-46c with pseudo pulse patterns 47d, 47e, 48d and 48e and CPU 61 generating pseudo control signals for X and Y directions whose cursor shift speed changes by the period of cursor shift for shifting the cursor the time of at a contact state, outputting them to a display device and changing stepwise and/or continuously the period of the pseudo control signals in the x and y directions in accordance with contact time.</p> |
