A differential gear between a tube weapon (weapon with a barrel) (30) which draws ammunition in itself, especially an on-board cannon on aircraft, and an ammunition supply system (2) having no belt links, it being possible to assist the drawing in of the ammunition by a booster motor, having an endless conveyor chain (16), a transfer unit for feeding and carrying away ammunition and/or casings, and having a rocker (10) which can pivot, is passed through by the conveyor chain (16) and forms an ammunition loop (20) which can be shortened. When the weapon (30) is starting, the rocker (10) pivots upwards, so that the ammunition which is located in the rocker (10) is immediately available to the weapon (30). <IMAGE>
