In the case of a corner connection (1) for abutting panels (2, 3) which are fixedly connected to one another by means of an outer profile (11) and an inner profile (21), the outer profile (11) is configured as a hollow profile and exhibits two stop webs (14, 15) which support the panels (2, 3) on their outer sides. Furthermore, a receiving chamber (16) is formed in a wall (13), which is directed towards the panels (2, 3) and belongs to the outer profile, and the inner profile (21) is configured as an angle profile, the legs (22, 23) of which are arranged such that they are located opposite the stop webs (14, 15). Fitted, moveover, on the inner profile (21) is a retaining web (24) which engages into the receiving chamber (16) of the outer profile (11) and is supported therein. This embodiment provides a corner connection (1) which can be produced cost-effectively without difficulty and without a great amount of production outlay and which also exhibits high static strength. Although the two profiles (11, 21) are supported directly on one another, a cold bridge can, however, be avoided. Dimensional tolerances of the panels (2, 3) are also to be compensated for, and the corner connection (1) can be produced in a short period of time without complex equipment and such that it is easy to mount. <IMAGE>
