The present arrangement of a raising fitting is to enable the latter to be simply constructed and inexpensive to manufacture. In addition, it is also to operate smoothly even when the adjustment is carried out from one side. Furthermore, it is to be capable of carrying high loads. The raising fitting (12) according to the invention has a four-bar chain (13) on whose links (13b, 13c) there are articulated guide links (14, 15) mounted on fixed pins (16, 17). By means of a locking device (18), the four-bar chain (13) can be fixed in various angular positions of the head part (11) to be adjusted. A coupling bar of the four-bar linkage (13) one connecting bar of the four-bar chain (13) is formed by the cross-member (11a) of the head part (11).
