PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a pulse motor driving circuit and the burning or the like of a pulse motor due to its malfunction by placing the pulse motor in a non-excitation condition when the inhibited combination of a phase excitation pulse signal is generated. CONSTITUTION:A CPU11 reads various data of phase excitation pulse signals, stored in a memory 12, to be fed to a holding circuit 13. The holding circuit 13 once holds the data to be fed to a protecting signal converting circuit 20. The protecting signal converting circuit 20 has AND elements 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27 and a NOR element 23. By the system thus obtained, when the inhibited combination is generated, in a case that all the phase excitation pulse signals are converted into '0' conditions by the protecting signal converting circuit 20, because of no driving of a pulse motor, its protection is performed from the burning or the like. |
