PURPOSE:To prevent moisture in the atmosphere from infilterating into cooling liquid and also prevent the rise of the boiling point of the cooling liquid by arranging a differential pressure regulating valve and a thermal sensing valve parallelly between a condenser and a reservoir tank. CONSTITUTION:A condenser 11, a passage 13 and a reservoir tank 14 are successively connected to a water jacket J formed in an engine main body E. A differential pressure valve which is connected to the passage 13 is opened when the pressure in the condenser 11 is lower at least by a specified valve than that in the reservoir tank 14. Suction of cooling liquid from the reservoir tank 14 to the condenser 11, and that of atmosphere moisture caused thereby are controlled to the utmost. A thermal sensing valve 18 which is connected parallelly to the differential pressure valve 16 is opened when the temperature of the cooling liquid in the water jacket J is a specified value or more. When the temperature of the cooing liquid is high, the condenser 11 is open to the atmospheric pressure so that the excessive rising of the boiling point of the cooling liquid is prevented. |
