PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly insert one end of a pipe in a sealed and pull-out prevented state and facilitate the assembling of an elastic seal ring and a lock ring. SOLUTION: An outer cylinder body 6 is screw-connected to an outer cylinder body holding bass 9 of a joint body 1 so as to form a pipe insertion clearance 12 toward an inner cylinder body 5. Before screwing of the outer cylinder body 6, the elastic seal ring 2 and a collar 14 are tentatively held around the outer circumference of the inner cylinder body 5 and the lock ring 3 is tentatively held to the outer circumference of the collar 14. When a pipe P is inserted in a pipe insert clearance 12, a space between the internal circumference of the pipe P and the outer circumferential face of the inner cylinder body 5 is sealed by the elastic seal ring 2, and the collar 14 is pushed into a collar relief clearance 10 from one end of the pipe P so that a bite tooth 3a of the lock ring 3 bites in the outer circumferential face of the pipe P. When a stopper 16 is screwed and advanced, the lock ring 3 is pushed so that the biting of the bite tooth 3a into the pipe P is released. |
