The twin-jaw grab for a hydraulic excavator has a ram for each jaw, mounted on a central beam, the jaws being detachable from the beam and rams. Each ram (5) actuates a component (6) turning on a central axis, and to which the jaw (2) is secured by a locking device. Each component can have a key portion at each free end, engaging in a mating groove in the jaw. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple and rapid changing of jaws on hydraulic excavator.
