<p>A moxibustion applier for applying thermal stimulus to acupuncture points and the like on the surface of a human body for moxibustion, comprising a plurality of conductive elements (2) for simultaneously applying warm heat to positions on the surface of the human body, which differ from one another, and a main body (3) of the applier for supplying drive signals to the respective conductive elements (2) for heating. The main body (3) of the applier is provided with a temperature regulating part (15) and a time regulating part (17), so that the temperatures of the respective conductive elements (2) can be individually regulated and the operation times of the respective conductive elements can be regulated. When the respective conductive elements (2) are placed at a plurality of acupuncture points on the same meridian or on the different meridians for simultaneous operation, temperature and time can be regulated according to difference in heat transfer characteristic at each point, so that most suitable moxibustion can be applied to anyone of the acupuncture points.</p> |
