<p>PURPOSE:To make assembly easy and correct by regulating naturally the orientation of a sensor chip in a thermal flow sensor and also to protect the sensor from breakdown by preventing an immoderate force from acting on a joined part of the sensor chip and a lead by the action of heat. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal flow sensor, a flat-surface part in one end of each of paired ribbon-shaped leads 102 of which the section is shaped to be flat and at least one surface of which is flat is joined to one of both ends of a flat-plate-shaped sensor chip 101. The flat-surface part in the other end of each of the ribbon-shaped leads is brought into contact with and joined to one of a pair of terminal pins 103 extending on the same plane. By forming the paired ribbon-shaped leads 102 in the shape of a crank, for instance, the buckling strength thereof is so set as to be the strength of joined parts 104 of the sensor chip and the ribbon-shaped leads or less.</p> |
