<p>PURPOSE:To produce the pig iron having a desired compsn. by using steel scrap having high contents of impurities and alloy elements and to reutilize the useful elements in the scrap. CONSTITUTION:This production process consists of the following stages (1)to (3). (1) The stage for producing the pig iron from the scrap having the high contents of the elements exclusive of iron or this scrap and iron ore in a 1st furnace and analyzing the components of this pig iron. (2) the stage for producing the pig iron from the scrap having the low contents of the elements exclusive of the iron or this scrap and the iron ore in a 2nd furnace and analyzing the components of this pig iron and (3) the stage for determining the mixing ratios of the pig irons obtd. in the stages (1) and (2) and mating these pig irons in such a manner that the compsn. thereof is confined within the compsn. range of the pig iron permitted according to the steel kinds desired to be produced.</p> |
