PURPOSE:To enable the warming-up of an engine by the effective use of exhaust heat without shortening travel distance per charge. CONSTITUTION:At the cold time of an engine 10, the exhaust heat of a power controller unit 16 and a motor 18 is supplied to the engine 10 by the valve control of a cooling pipe. The warming-up of the engine 10 is accelerated by the effective use of heat. The power consumption of a battery 14 is economized, and travel distance per charge is secured. Since the warming-up of the engine 10 is terminated early at the cold start time, harmful components in exhaust gas are reduced. |
