<p>PURPOSE:To provide the active matrix type liquid crystal display device which does not generate disconnection by galvanic corrosion and has high reliability without being exposed to external environment. CONSTITUTION:This active matrix type liquid crystal display device is constituted by having a 1st substrate 11 which is constituted by forming plural pieces of data lines 19 and plural pieces of gate lines so as to intersect with each other on an insulating substrate 12 and disposing thin film transistors having drain electrodes 20 in common use as the data lines and gate electrodes in common use as the gate lines 14 at the respective intersected points, a 2nd substrate 31 which is disposed apart a prescribed spacing from the 1st substrate 11 and is formed with a counter electrode 33 and a liquid crystal 41 which is clamped between the 1st substrate 11 and the 2nd substrate 31. The terminal parts 22 of at least either of the data lines 19 and the gate lines exist in the positions where the 1st substrate and the 2nd substrate 31 overlap on each other.</p> |
