<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and also to reduce the weight of the device by constituting the device in such a manner that movable parts for operating in accordance with a mode transition in the device are driven by utilizing the movement of a linear scale chassis for moving a tape cassette. CONSTITUTION:Tape guides 21 and 26 are moved with their respective pins 22 and 27 along cam grooves 23 and 28 of a base chassis 1 by advancing the linear scale chassis 7, and tape guide arms 19 and 24 are turned around centers of shafts 20 and 25, so that the tape guides 21 and 26 are moved forward to the outer side so as to draw a tape 101 in a front surface of the cassette 100. A pinch roller 31 approaches a capstan 6 in turning its arm 29 around a center of a shaft 30 by a pin and a groove 33. A supply side reel base 8 is released from a brake shoe 36 by a brake arm 34 with its pin 37 and a groove 38, and a claw 41 is engaged with a tooth 9a of a take-up side reel base 9 by an arm 39 with its pin 42 and a groove 43 so as to stop the rotation. When the chassis 7 is moved to the frontmost end, a recording/reproducing mode becomes effective, and the tape is taken up in keeping up its appropriate tension.</p> |
