PURPOSE: To obtain an inorganic particle-containing resin composition capable of forming an inorganic particle-containing resin layer having excellent flexibility and transferability, causing neither deformation nor peeling in pattern of sintered compact formed through an etching process and baking process, a transfer film having the inorganic particle-containing resin layer and to provide a method for producing a PDP capable of forming a pattern having a high dimensional accuracy, having excellent workability. CONSTITUTION: This inorganic particle-containing resin composition comprises an inorganic particle, a binder resin, a compound containing a methylol group and/or an alkoxy methyl group-containing and a solvent. This transfer film is obtained by forming the inorganic particle-containing resin layer obtained from the inorganic particle-containing resin composition on a substrate film. This method for producing a PDP comprises a process for forming a constitutent element of PDP by transferring the inorganic particle-containing resin layer constituting the transfer film to a substrate, subjecting the inorganic particle- containing resin layer to etching treatment and baking treatment.
