PURPOSE:To provide lower-cost and higher-efficiency generation facilities by feeding gas made to a lower temperature in an air preheater through a low- temperature blower, etc., to the air preheater, making it to a higher again temperature and recycling it as cathode inlet gas. CONSTITUTION:Part of cathode exhaust gas from a cathode exhaust gas line 17 is guided through the first and second branch lines 21, 22 for the cathode exhaust gas to an air preheater 2, where it is deprived of heat and decreased in temperature, and led to the first and second low-temperature gas lines 26, 27. The decreased-in-temperature gas is mixed with air from an air supply line 28, carbon dioxide from a carbon dioxide gas recycling blower 6 and otheres and further decreased in temperature so that the mixed gas may be fed to the air preheater 2 with a low-temperature blower 3. The mixed gas is increased in temperature with the air preheater 2, passed through a cathode inlet line 19 and recycled for an cathode pole C in a fuel cell 1. In this way, the blower 3 available in a market instead of a specially-designed expensive high- temperature blower can be used, resulting in a lower-cost, compact and high- efficiency plant. |
