PURPOSE:To provide a voice emitting device which can emit natural voices of good quality. CONSTITUTION:Word phonemic piece data corresponding to the form element (word) processed by a form element analyzing device 4 is decided, and each piece of the data is divided into a steady part and a transient part. The transient part corresponding to the connection part of each word phonemic piece data is substituted with transient part phonemic piece data for connection so that the word phonemic piece data is connected bit by bit, This lessens the connection part to lead to lessening of distortion caused by connection, and it is possible to produce synthetic sounds of good quality. Because the duration of each phoneme can be controlled individually for steady part and transient part, so that it is possible to widen the expansion and contraction of the steady part and narrow those of the transient part in the same manner as real voice, and emission of natural voice can be achieved. |
